So I went to see Carrie Underwood in concert on Monday night in Portland Oregon. One word, AMAZING! That girl has a voice on her that is ridiculous.
So before the show I had to stop at Voodoo Doughnuts in downtown Portland for some awesome doughnuts. They have been all over the food network so check them out. As I walk in there was a homeless guy out front. The conversation went like this:
Dude-Hey can I get some change for a doughnut or something else?
Me-Hey what kind of doughnut do you want?
Dude-No man I just want some change so I can get a doughnut or something else.
Me-Well I will just buy you a doughnut then.
Dude-No man I just want some change so I can get a doughnut or something else.
Me-OK dude I’ll give you my change on the way out so you can buy something else.
On my way out I gave him my change and told him to enjoy and went on my way to the show. I walked in right as Little Big Town started. I think that was there name. For a country band they were good. Two guys and two girls who all sang. Then onto Miss Underwood and her 8 piece band for the next hour and 45 minutes. It was awesome. Well awesome minus the 16 year old girl sitting in front of me who smelt like big time BO. I smelled it when she sat down but then when she took off her jacket it was like a wall that hit me. Seriously so gross. I know Portland is pretty hippie but come on take a shower!
Anyways I’ve been making a lot of breakfast for dinner the last couple of weeks. Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day but I am normally not up to eat it so I miss out. Pancakes, french toast, omelets, I’ve been making it all and it’s good. That is it for today. Off to watch a movie…
